Ok, I was curious, because on my 76' Z the filler part to the gas tank is just like a hole, unlike the little door right there that the nozzle of the gas pump goes into. So my question is: Is there a way you can just set the filler hose in the gas tank and let it fill up and it will automatically click off? It's just weird.

ummmm..... what? i dont know if thats worded just, bad, or if i have bad reading skills. lol. i dont get ANY of the first part, but i thini the jist of it is can you set teh auto fill on the gas pump and walk away? i dont see why not, the pump shuts off when it senses i dont know if its teh fuel or what but if you ever fill like the gas tanks you use to fill lawn mowers when the gas gets to close to the gas nozzle it shuts off.

All the S30 gas tank filler necks are like that... they don't have that one way check door. But the pump should still click off before it overflows.
