Plug Wires, Tune Up Parts
 

Hey Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone here would now where I can find a set of performance plug wires for my 1976 Datsun 280Z ?

I was hoping to find a nice set of 8mm or better, pre-cut. Also any opinion on ignition upgrades such as Mallory, Edelbrock, MSD, etc., to get more spark, or is this not worth the upgrade on these engines? I am trying to keep the restored look while trying to add some performance upgrades that don't retract from the cosmetic, original/restored look.

I am having a hard time just trying to find quality tune-up parts here locally. Any good websites where I can order online?

Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

i would go with the MSD 6AL it comes with an adjustable rev limiter. its just my personal favorite. ive seen amazing results in every vehicle ive used it in. as for the wires, for about $80.00 you can get custom wires, which you cut and make yourself, but i like them because you do them yourself, so you know its done right, and its something to be proud of and show off. you can get this at any local autozone or advanced auto parts store.

I actually found a few sets of plug wires on a site that someone from here emailed me about. They sell lots of tough to find parts for the 1976 280ZX. Thanks for the info.:)
