You can buy a cheap spray gun from Harbor Freight for $20 and a quart of automotive single or 2 stage primer for about $30. If you use rattle can primer it will look like ****. You will need about 10 cans of paint at $5 each. When you are ready to have it painted you will have to sand it all off because the paint shop won't paint over it. Stop by a paint shop and ask questions. Since your uncle can't find his gun maybe you can use his compressor. Painting is easy compared to the prep work as you are finding out.

Yeah. The prep work is the hard stuff.
Unless you go and start shooting metal flake, and pearls right off the bat, you will get the hand of it fast. Keeping the correct distance, and consitancy and patience are key.

ok so im going to have my uncle primer my car cause he is broke and owes me $135 so he is going to do all the prep work and painting he found a gun and compressor and has the paint i'll post pix when he finishes

he's saying you missed periods ( . ) in your "sentances" as in, they are run ons, missing punctuation and will make less sense missing them
