OEM Manuals for JDM Fairlady 280z
 

I am in need of a repair manual OEM preferably for a 1979 Fairlady 280Z Japanese production right hand drive. I have found a few places that have manuals for the american 280Z or 280ZX, but there are enough differences that I need a Manual with the Factory JSPECS. I don't know of a company that provides JDM Manuals. If anyone does please let me know.

what are the differences ??

i found it only to be lights and where teh stearing wheel is and a few things in the engine bay are on the other side ....

you could order one from over here in australia if you are desperate there are lots of after market rhd manuals over here

Ok I may have to do that. So far all of the american books I have found don't have fuel injected engines or power mirrors/windows. I also think that the wiring diagram will be just a little different.
But if you have an e-mail address to a company that provides the manuals I could track down some of the differences. The main reason for the manual is that since the wiring harness and the vaccum system have been butchered I would like some accurate diagrams to fix them.

Josh,
Where you located ?? I know of a few Right hand drive Z's in the area.
Would pictures or contact with an owner help you out ??

I am in Atlanta GA. and yes pics and e-mail addresses would help me out alot. I would like to pick the brains of a few people who have restored a right hand drive z.

yes and one thing that I forgot to mention when I asked for a repair manual was that the car is a 1979 fairlady 280z right hand drive japanese production. It is also the 79 import car of the year Special Edition. That is why I want to keep it as factory as possible. I don't think that there will be very many of those in america.

the fuel injection manual is seperate
i have the manual for the S130 chasis
and for the L28 engine they have everything for both left and right hand drive cars
but if theres something you really need i could try getting someone to scan it for you
these manuals were the last in the country and were nissan's own i got them both for $25 nz i also had their micro films but they needed them so i gave them back (not a huge help to me)
so japan might be your best bet to find them now
