New to zdriver and need help.

I'm going to be geting a 77 280z does not run. The owner says that it ran 6 months ago, it would idle high and would not come down to idle. so he parked it and it will not start now, he thinks the coil went bad. does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Welcome to ZDriver!

A motor needs 3 basic things to run:

#1... spark.
#2... proper fuel delivery (too much or too little will keep the motor from starting).
#3... air flow.

Not the lines, but the filter and/or injectors could be. You always want to change out the fuel on a car than has been sitting for a long time. Starting it w/ old fuel can cause a lot of headaches.
