need tech support?L28 engine swap ?????
Hi, was wondering if this engine swap I have in mind would work..Need to pick your brains here!!!! The engine swap I`m considering is to swap out the N/A L28 out of my `80zx for a VG30DTT DOHC....Has anyone done this or seen this done before... Will I have a ton of mods to do, and will my current 5 sp. trans bolt up to the V6.. And what about cost of the swap, or I`m I better of spending the cash on up-grading the mods on the in-line L28??????? thanks fellow Z-Racers

I know I always pipe up when someone starts talking about putting a v6 into an early z but to me it's a) verging on blasphemy, and b) likely to be quite difficult. There's a few people around who have done it tho' I think....maybe it was a 260 tho' might be blue....that wasn't much help. It can be done but I think it's quite hard. soz

thanks, I`m just not sure what`s the best route to take to gain the the results I`m looking for.... I what this 280zx to scream HORSEPOWER..............
