Re: need advice
I have a '78 with a ZX turbo motor. I believe this is the easiest swap that incidentally has the most power potential. Buy a wrecked '81-'83 turbo ZX, and swap the ECU, sensors and motor. You will have to do a custom exhaust and intake, just like any other turbo kit, and the wiring is a small challenge, but the results are amazing. There are a number of web sites describing this swap, so go searching the forums on ZCAR.COM and HYBRIDZ.ORG, and ask lots of questions.

Re: need advice
thanx for the advice, but i was seeking advice toward the direction of adding turbo, not exactly a turbo motor transfer but something maybe like a bolt-on turbo. is there a bolt-on kit available for the L28? if so where? i don't exactly have the fundage for an engine swap.

Re: need advice
280_kwikZ, SleeperZ gave you the best advice. there is no kit and in order to do it right, you are going to need the turbo, exhaust manifold, "J" pipe, AFM, wiring, sensors, ECM, and fuel pump from a 280ZXT. Also, the 280ZXT head is specially designed for the turbo application.
So, to repeat, the best, simplest and cheapest solution is to look for a running 280ZXT donor car and swap out everything.
