My Low # vin

HI everyone----------just thought i would drop a line into the turbo world..............thought i would let everyone know of the info that i found our of my 81 TURBO-------vin# 600247-----which basically in a nutshell tells me that my ZXT- car is # 247 out of the 6102 ZXT's made in 1981 and that would be # 247 out of the 30,684 280ZXT's made between 3/81 and 6/83....I consider this to be a rare beast. Just thought I would let everyone know. I was wondering if anyone had a lower # vin out there in cyber-world???????

Later,
81 TURBO
aka Scott

Talk to you soon--------LaterZ Scott(aka 81 TURBO)

81_Turbo:
Just to let you know AMY is just a Web Name - I am not fruity,

But I am a Dude. An old Dude, Well old anyway.
The Becks theme runs through many traces.

A fellow asked me if I wanted to sell the 81_Turbo rims.
My reply. To his E-Mail
----------------
Yes I'll keep this e-mail in a zcar archive.
I'll let you know, If I decide to replace or rebuild them.

The Pierre Z company ( the one's that do total restorations ) seem to have a source of those.
The Green convertable 73 and a couple of others with the Pierre Z plackard on the window had them. They were New not rebuilt. !!

Good show, ZDriver.com has many 640x480 pictures.
Mine are 1024x786 24 pixel, I'll e-mail you when I post them, with the URL

This is the second year for MSA taking the car, 1999 I parked my Maxuma A32 96 accross the street, and nearly had it towed. It's better to bring the Z and not worry about parking.
Several mechanical types spoke to me about the First Turbo Z and wished me luck. I've had it twenty years, new, paid cash.
However one "heavy set" man looked at the engine, was offended and walked away cursing.
No vision.
The car runs great with "7" injectors replaced last year, passed smog with room to spare.
2000 New air conditioner, total transmission flushed (not just what's in the pan).
!999 new steering rack and Steering pump, Rear shocks (Not Nissan)
Going to Blyth a few weeks ago, I opened it up to just less than 6000 RPM, It was a little loose with a crosswind. The speedometer is an 85mph. If 75 Mph is 4000 RPM = .01875 then times 6000 = 112.5 MPH. Cruise Control only opperates up to 5300 RPM.
It's Stock only those rear shocks, plug wires and the Bosch windshield wipers. ( I have the originals )
all other replacement parts are from Nissan.

Remember the Yellow 73 with Blue strip running tip to back. A fellow showing his car next to the Yellow/blue car bought it for $7000. What a deal.

I had a lot of fun watching the appaled looks of those that looked into my Z-Car, but that car has a heart of gold, and at 200,000 well I still get a kick out of driving it. I'll keep it stock.

--------------------------
That was a bit of the way I looked at MSA 20001

81_Turbo

I have some nice 1024x768 images from yesterday.
E-Mail me if you need em. I can Zip them up

I use a Mavica 95 and they came out well.

Cheers Amer's :) - :)
Appologies for the name, an old Vietnam era AF moniker, about Bien Hoa and vicinity, Amy provided air cover for extractions.
Sort of stuck with the handle.
