It was some what dissapointing but at least now I know where i can improve on.

first run 88.91 hp and 117.31 torque
2nd run 89.88 hp and 118.00 torque

The first improvement will be to get rid of the massive boost leak so my turbo will actually work

the rubber coupling thats between the turbo and the j-pipe was torn in have so it was running just like a N/A

I would have re-run it once i got that fixed but did not have the mula.

lmao that was pretty funny, the only thing holding your J-pipe from leaving the turbo coupler was that little 10mm bolt on the intake manifold XD

at least my car made more than you (not only this year, but last year as well :P )

he thought his boost gauge was messed up lmfao.

the shop didn't have any, so he went to autozone, and they had them, but at that point he had already made two runs, so they wouldn't let him make anymore runs without paying for them.

That is pretty horrible looking. I dont understand the taste in the tail lights either. But, to each his own I guess. It's not my Z. If I was not making boost I would not even waste the time on the dyno either. Not mine or theirs.
Take a base run of a healthy car. Anyone can improve on a dynograph with a car that is running like ****. It will run even worse than an N/A car because the air will not be metered correctly because all the air it's reading will not even be making it into the engine. haha

The reason he dynoed it with the boost leak is because he thought his gauge had gone bad as it was not reading boost anymore, and didn't possibly think that his almost 30 year old rubber coulpers could have dried and cracked lol

lol. ok ok, ratfink, i get what you are saying in all, except the dyno comment. simply because he has MSnS its a standalone ECU. you can't get a good tune on it without hitting the dyno. however, if the car isnt spinning its tires like crazy and reading almost no boost how could you suspect the boost guage as faulty lol. that was some SERIOUS operator error lol.

I just would have figured that there was something wrong with my car if it was only making 90hp on the way there. I understand wanting to tune it though.

it wasn't even a tuning session, it was just make two runs then get off and let someone else run lol

yeah but usually on those you do it yourself, so you have a little time to play. it won't be the best unless you rent out a good hour of dyno time but you could do something.

Yeah every thing is going to change including the paint scheme. I have a deal going on to swap some parts with a friend in the club. I just need to get my hood and hatch painted to match his car so we can swap.

I'll be giving him my stock hood (great condition)
and the Hatch w/ bre spoiler

What i will be getting in return is a custom 3" cowl induction hood (not FG)
and a hatch with a molded in whale tail spoiler.

I have a few paint schemes right now so here you go.
