mappable ignition ecu
 
hi all , i was just wondering if anyone was using a mappable ignition ecu (the type where input your own advance figures via laptop pc for given engine speed and engine load) if anyone is can u advise me on the following , where can u get one , how much do they cost , do they make a difference thanks in advance tim

they are really good and make a difference

there are heaps motec, EMS, autronic, F-Con V... the list goes on

MSD also produces a real nice ignition system in which you can alter the ignition curve every 100rpm-giving you full advantage of an ignition system throughout the powerband. It eliminates the need to purchase a real expensive distributor to give you adjustable advance which can't compare to a programmable curve.
