Looking for a muffler

I'm planning on putting a MSA 3-2-1 Headers, 2 1/2 pipe, and a high flow cat. I want something that is throaty, but not loud. I was looking at Borla's Turbo mufflers but I'm affraid that it might load. Any feed back will be much appreciated.

I've heard that Dynomax isn't too loud, and still has that throaty sound -- about to order one myself.

I'd say buy my edelbrock rpm series muffler, but it's 2.25", not 2.5"

Hmmm, do you know of a link with a sound wave on that particular muffler, cuz I might be interested in it for one of my other Z's.

I Have a stock manifold with strait 2.5 in pipe with a magnaflow muffler an i love it. I think it is the best sounding z in the world.

Just a suggestion

I have been looking at the Magnaflow mufflers. Which one do you have? Is it a Oval or a Round? Cuz I was thinking of going with the 6" round with 2 1/2" inlet. Do you think it will fit under my 280z?
