L20 Turbo Vs L28 Turbo
 

hey guys need advice. I've noticed someone is selling L20 turbo parts. I already have the L28 turbo head and block at home so I am basically looking for the components. For example electronic distributor, fuelinjection with fuel rails injectors, turbo exhaust manifold with or without turbo itself. Not sure if it has gearbox or not but if it does wondering if it's suitable.
So basically I wanna know if the L28 and L20 turbo's shared the same component parts as each other. As finding an L28 turbo here in AUS is hard because they never came out here.

Where u see the L20 add, u sure its not the 4 cylinder one...


did nissan come out with a L20 turbo? i not sure about that one

yeah, in japan. May be in Europe and Aussi too. L20A is the 6 cylinder. L20B is 4 banger.

I want the rods from L20A (135mm)! for my turbo motor.

I read years ago in I think it was fast fours that the editor had a 280zx with L28 n/a engine and did combine the L20 strait 6
(thats 2 litre six) turbo components onto the L28 with no problems as they share the same block dimentions.I believe he regraphed the distributer ($200) ran a nismo copper gasket to decompress and ran a aftermarket computer.
It was his daily driver and he fitted a TO4 on with big intercooler.He sounded pretty stoked about it.

Thanks for the info guys but it was the 4 banger turbo L20B I think so unfortunately no go :-(
Anyway the info still is usefull
