When you go to 240Z bumpers, you are most likely going to have to fill ALL of those holes.

With out the spoiler, but that si just my preference.

 

Personally, I really dislike rear spoilers on Zs. They have very clean body lines and I think the rear spoiler just clutters it up. If you road raced alot, maybe...

 

The front air dam is perfect. It isnt to big and fits nicely. It doesnt make the car look to busy. But I still think the tail needs to go. It throws off the clean look of the car like datsunfreak said.

 

I am going for the clean look, mine should look about like this (mine run thru adobe) when done:

 

Are you going to put a front spoiler on it? If not you might want to find something to protect that radiator.

 

Yeah what i really want is one of these in front of the radiator:

Saw it in some forum post somewhere, something about it being made in the '70's to fill the hole left by the bumper, it would go below the stock grille i think. I am looking for one too, will post if i find it.

Not sure how leaving the side markers, bumpers, badges and adding a spoiler could be considered "cleaner" then the clean look you get without em all. I know the Z needs front spoilers over 100mph but most my speeding is 0-60mph since i live in a big metro area so lighter will be faster and better handling at lower speeds.

 

Finally got the body work out of the way......then had no money for a good paint job or any paint job at all.......so i had to use the old cheapo stand-by....the rattle-cans......yes i know she deserves better and when i have the cash , she'll get a real paint job.

So i went with 2 coats primer, 2 coats flat red, 2 coats gloss enamel, wet sand w/ 600grit, one more coat gloss red, then a clear coat. Will wet sand w/ 2000g when the gloss dries (after 1 more clear coat) total cost about $40-$60
The shaved side markers came out ok, put the front cross piece back on and the rear bumper back on for now.

it sure is exciting when you finally unwrap her and start putting it all back together

So to avoid the bar-ba-que Ford Pinto syndrome i have put the rear bumper back on, don't look to bad....
