JTR manual

Is there anywhere in Australia that I can get a hold of the Jags that Run manual? Also what happened to the little envelopes by the posts, I liked them.

Re: JTR manual

order from www.customconversion.com
you could also try your local TECHNICAL BOOK shop.
They probably won't stock it but might be able to source it for you

Thanks, I've heard that the chassis needs to be strengthened... Is this true, and if so what needs to be done?

try technical book shop, they ordered it in for me, at around $65 or so

well worth a read...

has very good install pics, everything on installing the V8...

got some good suspension stuff in there also,

and brake stuff also...

doesn't have much about chassis strengthening i dont think.. ive read it a few times, but memorys a bit off, as i'm tired..

Re: JTR manual

depending on how much power you want to run with the v8. over 300hp, the chassis will eventually start flexing and twisting from the torque. Generally, you want to put in a rollcage, and do a search for pete paraska's v8z, and he has custom measurements for frame rail strengthening and bolt in info.

Re: JTR manual

RUNNING A MILD 350 CHEV DOES NOT REALLY REQUIRE THAT MUCH WORK APPART FROM THE BRAKE PAD UPGRADE AS THE CHASSIS IS QUITE STRONG ANYWAY.. UPGRADING THE ENGINE FROM THERE WILL DO. 260Z HAVE EVEN MORE STRENTH IN THE CHASSIS THAN A 240Z. NOT TO SURE ON YOUR REQUIREMENTS FOR LEGALLITY IN YOUR COUNTRY THOUGH. WE ARE BLESSED WITH A WELL THOUGHT OUT DESIGN.
