HELP - Low RPM - on take off
Got a pair of downdraft 32' 36' webers on 83' 280zx and on take off the tack would only shoot up to 3500 rpm.
Top speed however is fine. I just ain't got any take off.
Head is ported and I've got extractors. New plugs, wire and the works.
My mechanic was saying it is the downdrafts and suggested sidedrafts.
Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

The Weber down drafts on the Z didn't seem to work that
well. I would go with round top SU side drafts, but first
it you need to make sure its the carbs. My buddy is still
running with down drafts and other then it running pretty
rich.
