HELP!! can someone give me an answer??
i've post these questions in the ZCAR forum and seems like no one could really give me answer so i decided to try it here. hopefully theres some auzzie peeps here that well be able to tell me.
i have a 73 240Z. my question is that the head is a Y-70. the previous owner said that he put a different motor in the car.
would this motor be an L24,L26, or L28?
i also understand that the Y-70 head was not use in the U.S. is that correct?
what is the difference between this head and others use in Zcars in the U.S.??

as far as i know there wasn't a y70 used in the us. to id the bottom end look on the oil filter side toward the top of the block at the rear, there should be a stamped number identifying the block as; L24,26 or 28.
