engine troubleshooting
Hello all I have a 73 240z, while idling the motor just stopped running and unable to get it started, couldn't even get it to fire. I checked for spark it was a yellowish spark, it's getting gas and checked for water in the gas it was fine. Has anybody had a problem of this sort?
Thanks Tom

Did you find your finger? (from your earlier post...) You should probably tell our 240Z guys how the engine has been running before the stall-out happened. What other basics have you checked so far - and how do they look? Fuel, spark, air? Battery condition, connections, charging power, available crank amps? etc. etc.
You should give as much info as you can here to try to zero-in on the real problem area. Otherwise, the question is so huge it can be answered 100 ways - few or none of which will apply to your issue right now. Thanks! BTW, you have your free factory service manual from Xenon, right? http://www.xenons30.com/reference.html Any troubleshooting pages there that you checked out? Any and all new info from you helps. And don't worry. We can get that Z back on the road where it wants to be.
