Engine swap out...

Hi guys..
Has anyone ever dropped a 300zx TT into a 240Z shell.. If so is it easy worth it or just plain daft.. Any advice would be welcome.

The experts on different engine swaps are all over at HybridZ, i would ask there for some good advice but do a search first so they don't jump you for not looking

Sport Z ran a feature a few years ago of a 280ZX with a VG30DETT engine. Awesome car, and VERY fast.

Never seen it done on a 240Z-280Z, though. As far as easy? Not a chance. It will require 100+ labor hours and LOTS of custom fabricated parts. All just to have similar power to a V8 (and you could buy a bolt-in V8 swap kit for $350). Don't get me wrong, it would very very cool when finished, but I doubt it would be worth it for what you'd gain, and it would be nowhere near "easy".
