Yes well I'm too big in changing over to an american V-8 on a nissan but I was wondering how or what would I have to do to my current engine to increase power for performance I own a 83 280 zx non turbo I heard of n45 heads but what is that?
also would a VG engine fit???

The N42 head is from a 1970-71 240Z. That will decrease the space inside your cylinders and give you higher compression. For an easier fix, just put on a K&N cone air filter, a 2.5 inch exhaust off of your existing manifold and a 4.11 geared rear. That will get the best results with the least amount of money or time spent on a non-turbo.
