What is the real difference between a regular crank and deisel crank?

Is it worth it?

Longer stroke 83mm vs 79mm. I used one on my motor if you are rebuilding your motor and can get one from a junkyard for a good price (300 for mine) I think it is worth it. You end with a bigger motor 3.0 or 3.1 or even more. Mine is a 3.0L for 300.00 dollars more than it would have for a 2.8L.
