Custom Hatch Window!!!
Does anyone know of an inexpensive way I could mimick this. I would do some things different, but the "stingray" concept is what I like. The picture is copyrighted from www.zparts.com, hopefully they don't get pissed that I used this picture. The photographer is Eric N. from the West Coast Nationals in 2000.

That rear fiberglass hatch was produced by www.arizonazcar.com but they stopped manufacturing it and have the mold for sale. Check out their website. Maybe you can find someone selling one that they don't want. Good Luck.

heh that does look pretty slick. but it would seriously cut down on the trunk usage.. also, i dont see a lock on that. does it open?

yep
The original was designed to open. I have the original that Arizona Z car used to make copies from. It cuts down on storage a bit. Mine is not for sale though.

I have that hatch on my car. I bought the car in Mesa, AZ from a high school friend. Haven't seen anyone else with one, but I know there are a few out there. I'll post pictures of it in the gallery once I get them downsized small enough to upload. It's not for sale, though....sorry!

mine opens, too, but as of yet, it has not lock. it does cut down on space, but I use the car for track days, and auto X anyway, so I don't mind.

That's an awesome looking hatch. Wonder if you can put a lock on it...

pics uploaded
I uploaded pics of my car (with the hatch) to the gallery if anyone wants to see another picture of one. (unpainted still) :-(
