Clunking rear
My rear keeps on clunking, when i change gears 1st 2nd and 3rd mostly, and not just when i dumping the clutch or anything... normal driving... it mostly sounds like it is coming from the left side ( if looking from front of car) and it sounds to loud to be normal... any suggestions

Re: Clunking rear
Could be many things but Z's are known for their rear end clunk when the front mount on the rear axle gets weak.

Re: Clunking rear
Is it a metallic clunk or a more of a rubber bumping ?

Re: Clunking rear
replace the bushings on the mustache bar behind the rear end than replace the bushing above the rear end than insolates suspension from the body noise should go away

Re: Clunking rear
it really doesn't sound like a metal clubk, i'm presuming its the ruber mounts on the mustache bar, but not completly sure, i'll have a look tommorrow under the car to see whats goin on
