I'm looking into buying a 280z because my current car, a 95 Honda Accord is just plain boring. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to look for beyond the obvious stuff to look for like rust. What should I expect to pay for one?

Would that be a good buy if it is only the distributor or timing chain, and about how much would that cost to fix? Sorry if I sound like a total noob, but I am new to Z Cars.

Also, if anyone in the Sna Diego area knows of any good deals that would be totally awesome.
