Bad Brakes!
 

Hey Guys..Needs some wisdom. Having brake problems on my '70 240. The pedal goes all the way to the floor the first time that you push the pedal. If you pump it up, it feels great, but after that it will go to the floor. I've already bled the brakes and there's no air in the lines. Also, the master cylinder is new. Any thoughts?

-Also, when you are done, just for grins, take a look at the bottom of each tire from the underside of the car just to make sure that you don't have any leaking brakes. I replaced the m/c and brake booster, bled the lines completely, and still had pretty soft brakes. I happened to notice one of the rear cylinders was leaking down the tire, so i pulled it, replaced it, and brakes worked great.-taylor
