Any 1 want a ac system works well!

well i have never been a really big fan of ac's being they rob gas mileage/hp and i can just deal with the heat. ive robed the ac's outa every car i own for weight savings, freeing up the serphitine and gas mileage for what its worth.
now before i just ebay this stuff is there any1 here that needs or wants 1, and i would be up for a straight across trade for any hi perfornace parts any 1 has maybe u got a old pair of headers, or a nice rear end gears to get a lil more acceleration underdrive pulleys....anything.
im broke and i need more power.:unibrow:

and/or floor pans i need floor pans.........
whats the going rate for a functional entire ac system for a 76?

i also have the amp this dude had in here its a 250w alpine 2/1 mini bridgeable, external fuse.
but my gues is no 1's gona want it, ebay prolly, but just in case.
and i hear the hub caps for the old school z's are near priceles unles im wrong, im thinkin bout selling em ,......for the right price.

The a/c system isn't going to work too well if you take it out of the car... it needs refrigerant which will be discharged at removal. :D

Cronicus 05-01-2007 07:03 PM

of course, it will need to be refiled:unibrow:
well science this aint working to well,
DOES ANY1 HAVE A USED SET OF HEADERS THAT WILL FIT A 76 THEY WNANA GET RID OF.......
aluminum flywhele....
underives......
rear end gears........
i need prices man, i got a whole town full of hondas that need there asses handed to them.
please help:038:

I'm interested in the AC system, I just picked up a 78 280z and it is missing the AC compressor and the lines I think. Give me a call at 702-265-2134. I don't usually go to bed until midnight or so.

Here some pics of the engine bay, I'm not really sure what's missing because I'm not too familiar with Z's.

Here's a pic of the car. It was painted pretty recently, I thought I good a good deal on it for $1700. A guy in town was restoring it but past away and didn't get to complete it. The family sold his house and didn't want the car. The interior is in good shape but none of the gauges work and the switch for the headlights takes about 10 tries before the lights come on. Also there is a vaccum leak I need to find somewhere.

ok folks its going up on ebay soon so keep your eyes out....

Cronicus 05-15-2007 08:56 PM

o duh i forgot to meniton to everone "whitch might have kept sum from buying this" when the compressor was pulled of after the refigreant was discharged obviously, i filled the lines coming of the compresor, into the compresor with a 3m all pourpse lube, a relativly leight weight lube to keep the seals inside fresh and avoid them from cracking and drying out, then caped the lines. this was the suggestion from a fellow mechanic i know if i was going to store this compresor till it sold.
anyhow its going on ebay in about a week if no 1 else is interested..
