ive been reading n searching an awful lot but, i cnat find it..
how much better is the ride in a 260z than a 240z?
much quieter?
how is the ride in a 240z?

uhm. it's the same car. only significant differences are 2.6L vs. 2.4 (same carbs) and 260 had an optional 2+2

therefore, jury says it'll be just the same

couple of drive train mounts and minor setup things where different so the 260Z maybe slightly better but you probably wouldnt notice it since its all 30 y/o ..

i can say there's a difference between early 260's and 280's, having owned both you do feel the extra weight. but 260 v. 240, there's like a 70 or 80 pound difference. if it really matters, become a vegetarian.

bit of a difference there though 260 - 280 compared to 240 - 260

the early 74 260Z's where actually 240Zs with 260Z running gear (interior update and drive train etc)
