Air Flow Meter

Do You Have To Run The AFM or can i just run a pipe then the intake filter. will this give me more airflow and power?

Yes you do need the AFM, or your car won't be able to start. That is from my experience, but unless anyone else has tried something else. you really do need it.

The AFM is used as the primary reference for metering the fuel injection system. Unless you switch to an aftermarket system that can use a MAP sensor, the AFM is required.
