I currently own a '83 280zx. Im modifying it quite a bit...just got done with the paint job...its beautiful, a light orange-yellow with a gold and pearl on top. One thing I'd really like to do is put an "air bag suspension" on it. I dont know a lot about them, and its hard to find things online. By air bag suspension Im talking about the new suspension where you can drop the car down and raise it...and depending on how much you spend you can make it drop/lift on corner of the car at a time. Similar to hydraulics...but it uses air bags and its not really supposed to make the car jump, just move. I dont know much at all about this...anyone who knows anything please help me out. I need to know good places to get deals, information on the system options, what I need to get, what is optional, any knowledge whatsoever would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone know anything that is Z-specific as far as the air bags go that would be really nice too.

well there is alot to airbags really its a pain in the long run. Im not really sure if anyone makes the kit for a Z but Im sure theres a kit out there that you can make mods to so it fits.but to do it right you'll need silonoids I beleave iuts 4 one per corner, atleast one compressor but your better off with two, pressure gauges, switch's, lines, and a few other things. its expensive to do but anything is possable. the biggest problem will be finding the bags that you can use. good luck hope this helps you.
