Introduction - Hi There!
Hi There!
I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Brant and I am currently in the middle of a custom S30 build. A little background. I've always wanted a S30 with a RB engine, so in 2013 I purchased a "car in a box", which in hindsight was a mistake. The silver lining is it came with many extra OEM parts. So while I'm sorting out a lot of issues with the RB26DETT engine, I'm going to focus on selling many of the OEM parts. I know HybridZ is the best place to go to get advice on the car I'm building, but I'm hoping this is a good landing spot for getting advice on selling period correct OEM parts for the 240Z.
I live in Los Angeles and picked it up in Oregon. With the help of the previous owner and his friends we loaded everything from his shed and into the truck over the course of 4 hours. I was exhausted after this, and around 8PM I was off and driving back to Los Angeles. I stopped for the night just over the California border, and then continued on my way to my house in Mt. Baldy, CA. It was an exhausting experience and I overspent on the car, but I'm looking forward to getting it on the road and perhaps recouping some of my money by selling the excess parts.
Anyway, it's nice meeting everyone and I look forward to interacting with you.
Brant
PS - If anyone is interested in seeing the build I have a Facebook page called "Evolution S30". Probably not for most people here, but in case you are curious. I think you may have to ask to join.
Also, sorry about the inverted image. I'll try to fix it.

Welcome
Welcome to the forum Brant. You'll find there are quite a few people here who will help you out with questions as well as provide moral (and some immoral ) support.
Personally I love watching builds get done, especially as I recently completed (for the most part) a 260Z build of my own. "theramz" is on here (in a subforum) with a currently ongoing build thread too.

Not sure what page you're looking at. My car's original color was silver/grey when "rescued" but was in such bad shape a complete repaint was required. At this point, any color was OK and as it was going to be a resto-mod, we chose "Crystal Crimson Shine" off of a Lexus.
