78 280z 2+2

Hi all, my buddy recently purchased a 78 280z 2+2 and as I was going over the car I noticed that the driver side wheel well was pretty much made up of fibreglass (or at least had been patched with it) and the passenger side doesn't seem to have any fibreglass on it. I was wondering if they are suppose to be made of glass or no? I'm more of an muscle car guy so I don't know much about the Z cars

No fiberglass on the car, they were all metal from factory. Probably patched a rusty hole with fiberglass.

Be on the lookout for more rust and other kinds of crappy fixes. Fiberglass is not the right way to fix the floor, just cheap.
