73 240 missing timing after replacing radiator

My '73 was running well until I replaced the radiator. It doesn't want to start (turns over). I changed the fuel filter thinking it might be fuel starved. After getting it started (stretching the starter motor to within an inch of it's life), it was only running on three cyl. Changed the plugs and added performance wires, bought a new cap and rotor. Started a little better but was still missing. The car quit running and wouldn't re-start until I took the air canister off, but still was missing.

Where do I go from here?

Check all Vacuum lines and make sure you have the timing set right

1,5,3,6,2,4 counterclockwise from the #1 posistion

I did check the wires to the cap to ensure they're in the right position. Also, I pulled the #1 plug that was brand new and with just a few starts it was black with soot (not oil).

I will double check the vacuum lines, but I'm still confused because nothing else changed other than the radiator.

Black with soot? its running extremely rich then. I'd check plugs 3 and 4 and compare them. maybe one of the 2 carbs needs adjusting.
