3.1L Turbo?
I know you can overbore to 3.1L, so can you do this to a Turbo Z? What challenges would I face in such a setup?

Re: 3.1L Turbo?
compression problem. you would need to lower the compression to avoid detonation. Or get real expensive engine management. I'm trying to make 3.0L turbo with 89mm pistons, 133mm L24 rods and L28 crank. but the piston will have negative deck height so I don't know if that's going to work.

Re: 3.1L Turbo?
Thanks for the info. I used to have an 83' 280ZX NA... Loved that car. I was going to get a 350Z, until I asked myself what I really wanted. I want my old Z back. A little more power wouldn't hurt, so I'm going turbo this time.
