A seperate 280ZX forum ???
Hey people,
would it be better if we had a seperate forum for the 79'-83' cars ?
There is alot of difference between the early 70'-78' cars and the
ZX.

Yes and No, yeah there is a considerable amount of differences, and yeah it does get a little confusing, but in a lot of cases questions come down to motors and trannies and that sort of thing and some of these folks with the 1st g cars have so much great input that it would be a shame to lose that input simply by seperating the forums.
Thats my 2 cents take it for whatever its worth.

I agree with both of the guys that posted earlier. It does get somewhat confusing, but at the same time there is a lot of good information from the 1st Gen people. Let's see what other people have to say. Whatever the decision I'm behind it.

Hmmmmm.... I can see why it would make sense keeping it together.
My other idea was the tags in the subject line. I.E. (l6) engine help
and stuff like that , or (ZX) dash problems.

Ya, lets keep it all together. Talking about the differences is all a part of learning about Z-cars. The ZX engines are used in the early Z's commonly.
The tags will definatly help people know whats going on. Also, it helps if everyone remembers to mention what year of car they are talking about. I say we leave the forums together. The drivetrain is so simular, that's why it was lumped together in the first place.

yeah, i'd have to agree, keep them as one forum. I like reading through all the posts, even though I own a 240, i still like reading about the other Zeds. I think It would be a good idea to split up the 280zx's in the rides section, as there are a lot of pages to scroll through. It is also really good to see, mike, that you are consulting the community before changing things- keep up the good work!

I would like to put a vote in for the seperate Z and ZX fourm. There IS a lot of difference, but if we need the info........it's just a click and scroll away!!!!
