Kyle just wanted to know .What type of 280Z do you have? I have a 280 ZX 79. I'am new for I have had the car only 2 months. And I have alot of ? but to post them would take to long. I'am thinking about taken it to a datson/ nission dearler to have them work on it?? It's burning to rich of feul??? plus fuse box trouble??? I'am not a Mech. nor is my Husband. and we really want to get this car (DEPENDABLE TO RUN ) Do U have any sugestions??. brensun

Is the car running rich as in fouling the plugs? Or is there just a lot of soot? Have you tried the 02 sensor? When those go bad, your a/f can go outta line. It takes some muscle to change it out if it hasn't been done before due to rust, but if you have access to a cheater or breaker bar, it'll make it a lot easier. Fuse box troubles? Are you blowing fuses? Or is it more than that? You can message me or email if you have to; I'll try to help out as much as I can.
