280Z alternator mounting bracket

would the alternator mounting bracket from a 280ZX work on a 280Z? The one on my 280Z has broken and no stores around here have or can order the part, so i've decided to see what i can salvage. A yard near me has a ZX and i wondered if that bracket would work.

I just did an 81 into a 76 swap. I didn't see any difference in the brackets. I also used the 81 zx rad in my 76.

Yes, they are the same. I believe you can even use the bracket from an L20b from the Datsun cars and trucks from 1975-80. (l-series engine only)

hay, thanks for the help guys! I got one out of a 81' ZX and it is the exact same part. This was one of those things i needed fixed fast and you really came through. I didn't want to drive all the way out to the yard and find out the ZX didn't fit.
