Looks great, love the color, too!
Is the front bumper slightly off (driver side a little lower), or is it just the driveway/photo angle? Just curious. In any case, the chrome looks in great shape, too.
Were you able to re-use your fender badges, or did you have to get new ones?
Anyway, nice work! Hope you get to enjoy it some when the snow finally goes away!

1) yeah the 260 is in the snow.... but it didnt get painted. lol. plus i brushed it off right away. and i drove it last night do a lil slow mo driftin around the neighborhood. seeing as how snow is the only way to drift an open diff car. lol. so she's healthy at least.

2) must be the driveway cause its mounted just how it should be at least thats how it looked when i put it up. lol.
EDIT: actually lookin at teh pic the driver side does look like a hair lower huh? ill have to check that out, im fairly positive its just the angle and lighting.... but i see what you mean. ill check that out for sure..... i dont see how it could be low though lol. its got all the bolts and nuts on it..... hmmm

3) the side badges wer re-usable!!!! only lost one of the middle studs so no harm done.

4) i wouldnt have painted the 260 first. it needs prep work and the 280 just needed to get a little sanding and it was ready to paint. also the 260's interior is nothing like the 280's niether are the body seals/gaskets. the 280 is almost in show room condition just need new seats and maybe from carpet. and polish up the bumpers a bit. and baboom!!!!

5) im pretty sure i said i drove it straight back into the garage didnt i not? lol either way i did it was outside for a total of 5 minutes and only 15 feet away from its hole lol. thank the lord for heated garages.

now for the emblem. it is about 2mm up just in the peaks/concave. but there was NO way to fix that. its from the angle it was bent at and with where the studs were if i even found a way to un-bend it without hurting it i would have never got it to fit in the holes. but when i torqued the nuts down it pulled it nice and even so you cant notice it unless your lookin for it. i did have to bend teh studs out a lil because when the emblem was bent the studs were left alone so they were pointing inwards lol.

yea i had to bend the studs also but i kinda bored out the hole so it would sit flush while its not wobbling.

either way it'll look good.

im gonna re-sand the hood section in the summer with even finer paper and maybe re-spray the front fenders and hood again in the summer just cause the hood buldge and the vent panel behind the hood required so much sanding it almost is starting to look duller than the rest of the car. but to the untrained eye you would never ever know. lol. the rest of the car is glass though. i wouldnt touch a thing. the pictures just arent doing it justice for the true final finish other than the close up one. that shows the true color and look. also, if i do do anything else to the rest of the car it will just be buffing and trying new stuff def not sanding.

thanks. means alot coming from someone with a car thats in as good as shape as yours (exterior at least never saw your int.)

and yeah, only the close up of the emblem shows the real color (the metalic) the rest just show the tone. the dark grey. stupid cameras that dont appreciate art lol

beautiful. i also like the color. i'm sure you are exited about getting it lowered. it just looks like it's asking for it. we both have hood emblems from the same guy too. mine's different though

Hey... if it's got a Fairlady sticker on the back... It's a Fairlady! Just like putting a Chevy logo on a Honda.

i just like the emblem. and it's close enouph. i see it like representing the roots of the car. another example may be putting an austin healy emblem on a new MINI cooper.

I like how my old Z has Z emblems and a Nissan emblem on it instead of most 240Z's that came with D and Datsun everywhere.
