280 brain disorder
What is it about the z car that draws you back to it? I sold a 79 about 10 yrs. ago and regretted ever since. I've had other cars, but could care less if I ever drove those again. I need to get my 81 running, but the frame is rusted and I need a welder, I guess. Oh well.

Re: 280 brain disorder
I know what you mean. I sold my last of 3 Z's (72 240) when my second child was born. I was so determined to hold on to it that when my first child was in a car seat we use to strap her seat into the back hatch. Turned my 2 seater into a 3 seater. I actually beat an HOV3 ticket with her in the car one day. Cop couldn't ticket me even though I was driving a two seater car.
I just bought a 78 280 a few months ago. Promised myself it wouldn't be a daily driver but I can hardly walk by it without getting in. Said I would put it away for the winter in mid October, here it is mid november and I am thinking of driving it to work tomorrow. I think I got the sickness bad man!!! 20851-mybluez5.jpg |
