260Z 2+2...why?
 

ok...I feel stupid for asking this, but why is the 260Z called a 260Z 2+2? does it mean it has more performance? a back seat? I'm so lost, please let me know!

2+2 Designation
 

Basically, the 2 + 2 is 11" longer in body length, mainly in the two front doors, and a bit ahead of the rear wheels.

What I remember, the 2 + 2, was two seats up front, + 2 in the rear, which are basically kid size.

I'm looking for a rear seat for my 77 2+2, which I hope to return to factory Orange, with the silver plastic inserts.

More specifically, there are two different models. A regular 260Z is a sportier look, and only has 2 seats. Looks just like a 240Z.

Same with all the models up to the late 300ZX. All had a 2+2 body style and the regular 2-seater. The 350Z is not going to have a 2+2 model available... which I think is good.
