240z turbo conversion
 

I just Baught a 1971 240z With No Engine or tranny But I have a 280zx Turbo With some Mods Like Manual boost controller No pop off valve, Apex Blow Off Valve, Electric Fan. I am Planing of rebuiding My motor and Putting it in the 240z and trashing the 280zx but What parts can i change That will fit Like rear end disk brakes calipers Ect. anyone know what you need to do a conversion. please help me with links pics etc.

the engine and trans will bolt right in. You'll have to fabricate
a new downpipe to the exhaust. The next problem will be
making the aircleaner to throttle body duct.

Finally the hard part, transplanting the computer and wiring and
fuel delivery system to the Z. That's where I left the project about 6 years ago.

You can also transplant the front brakes, and if you can find
maxima brake brackets, you can also transplant the rear
discs. However the 280zx frt brakes tho vented are smaller
in diameter than the solid discs. Don't know if they would
work better.
