Looking for good 280Z repair shop in Milwaukee WI area

Recently came in to a barn stored 1976 Datsun 280Z in very good condition but it doesn't start (probably from being stored) and the clutch may need to be replaced. We live in Florida. I'm looking for recommendations on a place to take it in the Milwaukee area (it's stored just north). Or do I just find a decent Nissan dealer or a shop that specializes on foreign cars? Thanks in advance.

Nice looking car. Of course we can't see what's inside or underneath but nice looking just the same.

If I lived in Florida and had a non-running car in WI, I'd get it shipped home and have it fixed locally.

Thanks. I've been tossing around bringing it down. But the plan is to move back to Wisconsin in the next couple years. Still thinking about it though.

Well I see your dilemma. There's nothing odd about the clutch setups on these cars. Almost any reputable shop should be able to handle a clutch replacement.

On another note though, if you're leaving the car up in the frozen north, get it out of the barn. If you haven't already of course...

It's stored and covered in a newer steel barn now and has been for winters since new. We'll be making a trip up this summer. Father/son project to get it back on the road (brakes, motor). But in the interest of time while we're up there, may look to get it in to a shop to get the clutch work done if it needs to happen. Thanks.

Love that setup. Here in Arizona all I've got is a 3 bay carport (with four cars in it). I'm salivating over building an enclosed garage/workshop. Would be so much better to keep out blowing dust, plant parts and critters. Only problem is I keep spending my money on car parts ...
