240-280Z clear side markers
 

Hiya all,

Recently I went to a local Japanese bookstore and picked up a japanese magazine called Autoworks. It seems to have a lot of 240Z ads in there. 3.1L kits cool body kits for the 280ZX! Even this tricked out 240Z 9.969 sec 1/4 with the weirdest custom rear end.

Anyways i'm here to ask if any of you guys know anything about clear sidemarkers. The ad says Original Clear Sidemarkers, for 8000 yen, which i think tranlsates to 80 Us bucks not sure what the currency is now. I hope that is for a set and not each!:) My question is were there ever any original clear sidemarkers in the Datsun market? all the japanese ones I've seen, and european z's have front markers only and they are orange not clear. Does anyone know any info!

hey yuichi
no idea about the clear sidemarkers, now you brought that up, why not make some for fun, i made some years ago before when i had side markers. also check out the japanese mag "nostalgic hero" also another great magazine or if you can find retro car, that too is cool, filled with old imports.
