1981 280zx Ignitor
 

Does anyone where you can buy an ignitor? I have tried searching, checked Pep Boys, Autozone, Advance Auto, etc... I am looking for the one that mounts on the coil bracket. I am in the process of finishing up a repair job (for my son) that somebody else started and I do not have the ignitor. Just my luck! I have power to the coil but no spark at plugs, I believe the ignitor should solve the problem. Thanks in advance.

The only one that mounts on the coil bracket is for the turbo model.

It should be located on the side of the distributor if yours is a non-turbo. It's called a "Transistor ignition unit" by Nissan (click: http://nissan4u.com/parts/280zx/us_s...l/distributor/ )
