Got it running, but the accelerator is stuck?
 

Hi, I have a 72 240z with round top SU's and last night I got it to run for the first time!! :biggrin:
It idled long enough for me to adjust the timing and fiddle with the carb settings but the accelerator linkage was moving but didn't rev the engine.
I got the engine to rev by pushing on the tabs on both the carbs but now it seems to be stuck.
I took one of the carbs off a little bit to make sure the linkage was connected properly but it when I crank it up it just revs up and won't idle.
What should I do next to try and solve the problem?
