I have a '77 280z, and i want to move the ugly as gas tank up into the wheel well for exhaust reasons and for the fact that it looks like my cars balls are hanging out.. i want something like this can anyone point me in the right direction?

That's the hatch... not the wheel well.
And I Googled "fuel cell" for you: https://www.google.com/search?q=fuel%20cell |
Yea but how do imove the tank upwards without unbalancing the weight of the car...

Well... how big of a fuel cell are you going to use? How much fuel will be in it when you are racing? Have you thought about installing the cell where the stock tank is? (most fuel cells are smaller than stock tanks).
Just an FYI, there are tons of "how to balance your car" articles on the intrawebs... :D Understanding Corner Weights: Grassroots Motorsports Magazine Articles |
I wouldn't worry about unbalancing the car. The cell in the pic most likely had a custom holding frame built after the spare wheel well was removed. The holding frame is built inbetween the rear frame rails of the hatch floor. Most common cells used are the 10, 12 & 15 gallon capacity for S30's. The height of the cells are generally between 9.5" & 10.25" If the top of the cell is installed at floor level then the rear lower body panel should completely hide it. Keep in mind that if you are doing any road racing then sanctioned fuel cells must be used. These are generally ATL's & Fuel Safe's. The fuel cell you get from Summitt or JEGS are general purpose made for drag racing cells & won't cut it for road racing.
