ZDriver.com - exhaust/stinky z finally resolved

Hello,
well, after all this time, the problem is finally resolved. It's a bit embarassing that it was not found sooner.

The problem was not exhaust at all, it was my connections to the fuel injectors. 2 of my injectors were staying on constant and over fueling the cylinders. I was smelling raw fuel and oil that was around my dirty car.

My new mechanic put new connectors on all my fuel injectors gave me a new valve cover gasket, and cleaned her up. (along with a tune up) and I don't smell anything now. So... what's really going on with that mechanic I trusted for over 7 years? He SUX big time. I hate him. all he wanted was for me to get so sick of the z car I'd give up and he'd sell me something he had like that 540i bmw. He would have made over 3k on me if I had bought that car from him for what he was asking. (I snooped around in the glove box looking for the registration, so I'd be ready for my speeding ticket. I never found the current reg, so I never got the car up to speed, but I did find out what he paid for it. I never told him I knew either.) So, now I'm greatfull I have a great new mechanic, and I hope I never get the headaches again. they were awfull. what was happening was when I would roll down the windows, the fumes would come straight from the engine into the car. :119: I will take a picture if anyone would like to see.
