problem... first gear runs good... BUT when i shift into second. the gear engages and does well but when its running in SECOND GEAR it makes a weird noise like... idk sort of a GRINDING or turbing noise... i have no clue what it might be. its only on second tough and the rest of the gears soung great and run well ... what might this be?

I don't know what "turbing" is... An old wooden ship???

Where is the noise coming from? (as in location in car)

Do you FEEL the grinding in the shifter?

Have someone in your passenger seat while you drive, so they can take a listen too.

i mean sort of a TURBINE noise. like the noise a TURBINE Makes.... and the noise seems to be coming from the tranny most likely. and YES i do feel a slight weird vibration on the stick.. now that you mention it

i personally think its coming from the tranny.

theres no reason why (or aleast I think there isint) the diff would work fine with the first gear but grind with the second. So...the most likly problem is with the gears(2 speed gears) in the tranny.

yeah thats what i was thinking.... and also i did'nt add it cuz i didnt think it was that big of a deal... but ok... you know that noise your car does when your going FAST but on REVERSE..... thats the EXACT noise second gear makes.. but the rest dont.. does it need oil? or is the second gear messed up now or what? cuz it does'nt give alot of power now... i mean its THERE and it shifts into second but i dont feel the power it USED to give me.. u know.... making my back hug the seat and stuff. that feeling's gone
