Correct Engine for my 260Z?

Where would I look for some kind of identification casting number on this engine to see where it came from?

I bought this car off of eBay and while it's been a really good car, the little history I have on it is that it was put together by an older guy in the Sacramento, California area that buys, fixes up and then sells older Z cars.

This car had 240Z doors on it and now I'm wondering if the engine might not be the original engine and was borrowed from another car to put this 260 back on the road so it could be sold.

I'm not too concerned that it might not be the original engine but I do want to know what I'm working on so I can order the correct parts.

I purchased a NOS door regulator for my 260Z and that's when I found out I had 240Z doors because the regulator didn't fit.

Anyone want to buy a NOS 260Z passenger side regulator? LOL

if i remember correctly it should be on the right side just beneath the cylinder head.

What's the head casting number.

It will start with.

L24, L26, or L28 just beneath the #6 spark plug.

That will tell you what engine you have.
Looks like an L26 to me, but I have an untraind eye.
