Yeah. Don't bother bleeding it again, it won't help. The cylinder in the master cylinder has lost it's seal. That is the only way to describe what you feel. Happens to brakes all the time too. You can replace it or rebuild it. Since the second really isn't that feasible, then you know what to do.
