Centerforce I clutch

I was just reading a thread on Corvetts having a problem with Centerforce clutch binding after warm up. Has anyone heard of this happening on our fantastic Z's?:icon_butt:

Centerforce throwout bearings are crap and are known to sieze up on you.

Indeed. I've got a Centerforce Dual Friction & the CF bearing went to crap. I replaced it w/ a Z31 bearing & have no probs since. I love the clutch tho!

always get your throw outs from the dealer no matter what the vehicle, there just better quality
