Carburetor insulation block gasket

Rebuilding my carburetors (those aren't the ones I'm rebuilding above), and was curious if I needed to use permatex between the gasket and carburetor, and between the insulator block and gasket, as well as between the other gasket and the intake manifold? I know there is a water line that runs through the carburetors and intake manifold, so does it need to be permatexed?
